Fusion 2017: Creative Arts Workshops

This year, we have creative arts workshops for songwriting, prophetic art & prophetic dance. We believe that God gifts us the ability to express ourselves in various ways as a form of worship to God, and we hope to explore these areas so that we may bless the bigger body of Christ through them!

1) Songwriting

Ever wanted to express your love for God through an original song? What does it mean to ‘sing a new song to the Lord’? Join the Songwriting Workshop & Forum and hear from our experienced panelists about their experiences on writing, composing, and drawing inspiration for new music. If you already have an existing original piece and would like some feedback on them, do bring it along to share with our panelists and fellow songwriters!

2) Prophetic Art

What is the artist’s identity in the whole context of the Kingdom of God? How can drawings and paintings be used to express our worship unto God? Come be led into a time of self discovery in the area of the arts, and learn more about what prophetic art is all about. Join us as we explore the use of art in our daily worship unto God.

3) Dance

Prophetic dance is a release of God’s heart for His people, a particular situation or moment through movement. Like a spoken prophecy, it aims to strengthen, encourage and bring comfort. When coupled with intercession and synergised with the anointing of other ministries such as singing, music, arts and worship with flags, prophetic dance can create a powerful corporate expression and amplify the spiritual power released as described in Psalm 68: 25-35.
